OUR GUESTHOUSE
Auberge Maanitaaukimikw (Maanitaaukimikw means “guesthouse” or “visitors’ house” in the Cree language) is a bed & breakfast within the Cree community of Chisasibi, north-east of James Bay. It has nine comfortable and well- equipped rooms, which can accommodate two or four persons each. Your stay at the B&B includes a full hot buffet style breakfast along with fresh coffee.

Also available is our private two-bedroom guest house named the “Grand Chief Suite,” A Beautiful private 2 bedroom guesthouse suite with a fantastic view of the La Grande River.
The GC Suite has one room with 1 king bed and one room with 2 double beds and can comfortably accommodate 6 people. It is fully equipped with all the necessities for a comfortable stay which include a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, a living room, and washer and dryer.

Super clean rooms, clean bathroom, clean kitchen, comfy beds.
Stayed there for a week and had a very pleasant stay, I would recommend for anybody going to Chisasibi. Breakfast was like a feast every morning (I probably gained some weight), and we cooked our own food in a full equipped kitchen.

Wonderful.
If you are looking for a comfortable stay in the area, this is the place. One of the nicest auberge I have experienced. Breakfast is quite good. Super clean. Shared bathrooms (3 for 9 rooms) aslo very clean. Host is attentive and very nice. Short drive to LG1 and LG2. Vending machines for snacks. Coin operated washer and dryer for clothing.

Excellent stay for business or pleasure. Stayed for one night, last minute booking for a flight crew member.
What a great place! Totally enjoyed it and would recommmend it.
For flight crew arriving after hours at the airport, there is a gate locked on the road about 500ft east of terminal, you will have to walk there for the cab to pick you up, easy to do but you have to know it.
